The way to stop violence is revenge.

False. Revenge can lead to more trouble. The socs and greasers are often trying to get revenge on one another and then the other gets mad and then people get hurt in the crossfire. It is not worth hurting others to stop violence.
False, all that revenge can do is cause more violence. After the Socs hurt Ponyboy, he and his gang members wanted revenge. If they hurt the Greasers hurt the Socs the Socs would want revenge and this would keep going on and on and on. Each time the next person takes revenge it is a little worse than the ones that come before. An example of this is if someboby almosts gets killed after someone takes revenge somebody could die next time someone takes revenge. Revenge can be a form of violence. Anyway, how could stop violence by causing more? The answer is you simply Can't
False violence cannot be stopped by revenge. As much as Id like to stop vilence with revenge I cant cause it would just cause more problems for me just like the socs do to the greasers over and over again.

Ok, Seriously. Majority Rules that this was a easy question and obviously the answer is FALSE! Revenge is going to lead to more conflict and violence within each other. You many walk away, saying "I can't believe I just left that fight unfinished," bu in the end, you just resolved a fight that could of gotten you in some serious trouble. Also, if you ever do get into a fight and leave, and the person beating you up calls you "names" or cusses at you, IGNORE THEM! Do not come into contact with them, and don't build up your anger. Your past is nothing to look upon, but instead look at towards you future.

In response gang b kills gang a's leader then gang a captures gang b's youngest and tortures him then sends him back. gang b thinks of an equally awful thing and this continues. This means that revenge is more violence. There are so many things that tell you not to counter act violence with violence (revenge). the obvious ones are, Violence is not the answer or to wrongs don't make a right. But I'll just say this Gandhi is for nonviolence, but on the other hand The Punisher says In certain, extreme situations, the law is inadequate. In order to shame its inadequacy, it is necessary to act outside the law. To pursue - natural justice. This is not vengeance. Revenge is not a valid motive, it's an emotional response. No, not vengeance. Punishment. So you decide who is right Gandhi or the punisher, who doesn't believe in revenge just vengeance. He also believes that Sic vis pacem parabellum - If you want peace, prepare for war.

False, all that revenge does is shows that you are just as bad as they are and are willing to sink down to their level because the only way that you think there is to solve a problem is to do the same or similar thing back to them. Revenge only shows that you are no better than the person pr people that did something to you in the first place. I t also show all onlookers that that is how to solve your problems and sets a bad example to all around you, if you don't like what they did to you be an example for them instead of being them.

i have to say that is incredibly wrong, if someone did something mean to you then you will want to get revenge, and let say you did well the person who you got revenge to will just get even more mad and want to do it agian and it will happen over and over because the bully wants an exuse to hurt you or something
